Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director to lead end-to-end RMBS analysis and assess credit, cash flow, legal, and structural risks for senior transactions in the U.S. RMBS group.

You will own cash flow modeling, design scenarios, and present recommendations at rating committees while mentoring junior analysts and engaging with issuers and investors. A collaborative, fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of RMBS/ABS or related capital markets experience.
• Bachelor's degree; CFA/FRM is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with senior external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead primary and surveillance analysis of RMBS transactions, including collateral and legal risks.
• Own cash flow modeling and scenario design; oversee results interpretation.
• Present recommendations at rating committees; document decisions to a high standard.
• Drive criteria application and contribute to methodology enhancements.
• Produce high-quality research and issuer/investor communications.
• Manage issuer and transaction relationships; represent Fitch in meetings.
• Coach junior and senior analysts to ensure analytical rigor.
• Monitor market developments and translate insights into viewpoints.
