HonorHealth seeks a Representative I - Revenue Cycle Customer Service to serve as a primary contact for patients regarding self-pay accounts. The role supports billing and collections, greets callers, reviews accounts for insurance updates, and assists with financial aid information.

Hybrid position at Deer Valley location in Phoenix, AZ. Requires 1 year of healthcare collections or customer service and basic medical terminology knowledge. Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year Healthcare Collections or Customer Service.
• 1 year Medical Terminology.
• 1 year Medical Insurance Adjudication/Benefit (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Receives, handles and routes revenue cycle phone calls or digital communications.
• Reviews patient’s accounts for insurance updates, rebills or further insurance/coding review in all service areas.
• Responsible for collection of patient liability, set up/monitor payment plans, detailed documentation on accounts and/or explain/offer financial assistance.
• Provide follow up communication to patients regarding status on accounts needing further review.
• Performs clerical duties including scanning, mailing, updating registration, release of information, balancing according to established policies.
• Maintains effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Participates as a team member in all aspects of department functions.
