Job summary

Fielmann USA, Inc. in Deerfield, IL, is seeking a Construction Manager - Hybrid to lead multiple new-store and remodel projects from preconstruction to closeout.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, QA, safety, and compliance while coordinating with contractors, architects, and internal partners to deliver on-time store openings. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously, interpret drawings, and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• Experience leading multiple retail construction projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee multiple new-store and remodel construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate meetings and site visits, including bid walks and closeout.
• Serve as primary contact at active worksites with contractors and inspectors.
• Monitor progress, respond to delays, and update leadership on budgets.
