Job summary

Fielmann USA is seeking a Construction Manager for a hybrid role based in Mount Clemens, MI. Lead multiple new-store and remodel projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with contractors, vendors, municipalities, and internal partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of building codes, and experience managing retail construction with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing construction of multiple new or remodeled retail outlets scheduled at the same time.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee multiple new-store and remodel construction projects from start to finish.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings and conduct regular site visits.
• Serve as primary company construction contact at active worksites with contractors and inspectors.
• Maintain active daily engagement, monitor progress, and respond to delays or issues.
• Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues.
