Job summary

CMS Energy in Jackson, Michigan, is seeking a Resource Planner to develop a balanced monthly resource and workload plan that aligns with business objectives and performance targets. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain to deliver accurate work plans and identify resource gaps.

The position reports onsite four days a week with one remote day, and relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field with 2+ years of experience in a call center or related environment that utilizes resource planning applications and methodologies.
• Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in a call center or applicable environment that utilizes resource planning applications and methodologies.
• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in a call center or applicable environment that utilizes resource planning applications and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting, scheduling, and aligning resources with work.
• May own or lead projects for the business unit.
• Monitor, report, and provide analysis and feedback on key performance indicators.
• Partner with managers and peers, as well as cross-functional stakeholders, to create, maintain, and leverage best practices and strategy optimization.
• Perform resource planning functions for the assigned business unit.
