Job summary

Xcel Energy in Minnesota seeks a Residential Energy Product Strategy intern for summer 2027. You will join a team of energy product strategy experts to support residential programs and rebates and deliver on one to three key projects in your focus area.

The internship is on-site in Minnesota at least three days a week with strong preference for local students and potential to extend into the following school year. May 24, 2027 start date.

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher in college/university.
• Enrolled and pursuing a degree in listed fields.
• Able to work full-time during summer (up to 40 hours) and part-time during school year (up to 20 hours) in-person per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate journey mapping sessions to understand customer engagement with Xcel Energy products and services.
• Support and manage project plans guiding customers through purchase journeys for residential programs and rebates across digital experiences.
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze energy data and understand systems enabling programs and rebates.
• Assist with RFPs and other filings as needed.
