Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Residential Energy Product Strategy Business Intern in Minnesota. You will support strategy and experience for residential energy programs and rebates, delivering 1–3 key projects in your focus area.

On-site at least 3 days a week for Summer 2027, with potential part-time continuation during the next school year. As an intern you’ll join a team of energy product strategy experts, learn about residential customer offerings, and contribute to ensuring programs align with

Qualifications

Current student, junior or higher in an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Business, Environmental Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Communications, Management, or related fields.
Able to work full-time during summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during school year (up to 20 hours/week).
Willing to commute to the designated work location per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

Facilitate journey mapping sessions for customer engagement with products and services.
Support and manage project plans guiding customers through residential energy program purchases.
Collaborate with technical teams to analyze energy data and understand systems behind programs and rebates.
Assist with RFPs and other filings as needed.
