Strada Education Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Research Project Manager to support the Employer Alignment components of the State Opportunity Index. You will blend project management with data analysis to keep deliverables on track and translate labor market and education data into actionable insights.

The role combines data work with coordinating across internal teams and external partners, suitable for someone early in their career with strong technical skills and organizational discipline.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, economics, statistics, business, communications, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience performing quantitative data analysis with project management or coordination.
• Foundational proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and advanced MS Excel.
• Experience building tracking systems and managing timelines for multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills for plain-language data summaries.
• Curiosity about education outcomes, state workforce data, labor markets, and policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage Projects and Administrative Operations: build and maintain PM systems to keep the annual State Opportunity Index on schedule.
• Coordinate workflows between internal teams and external consultants; monitor milestones and dependencies.
• Provide real-time updates and surface risks before timelines are impacted.
• Coordinate administrative logistics across state initiatives and partner engagements.
• Analyze education, labor, and state workforce datasets using SQL, Python, or R and Excel.
• Transform analyses into accessible resources for non-technical audiences.
