Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in commercial insurance.
• 1+ years of experience in commercial insurance and underwriting concepts.
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work with agents and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of renewal business with profitability focus.
• Analyze submissions, loss history, exposures and account performance.
• Review coverage needs, pricing adequacy, and guidelines.
• Coordinate quoting, binding, issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
• Develop renewal strategies to support retention and profitability.
• Maintain underwriting files per guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Communicate decisions and pricing rationale to agents and partners.
• Support agency relationships and drive service excellence.
