Leeward Renewable Energy in the United States is seeking a Sr. Project Development Engineer (M&A) to lead engineering due diligence and preliminary design for wind, solar, and energy storage assets.

This in-office role requires on-site presence at least three days per week with hybrid flexibility, up to 25% travel, and a compensation package ranging from $138,000 to $194,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• 4-Year Bachelor's Engineering Degree.
• 6+ years of technical experience including project development, permitting, and engineering design.
• 5+ years development engineering experience in renewable energy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, PlantPredict, PVFarm, Openwind.
• Knowledge of M&A, project development, cost estimating and permitting processes.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and read technical drawings.

• Conduct desktop site assessments for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Diligence data rooms and prepare engineering documentation for divestitures.
• Collaborate with M&A, Project Development, and Finance teams to advance transactions.
• Prepare or manage preliminary site layouts and energy prediction reports.
• Assess engineering deliverable needs and coordinate site surveys and reports.
• Provide engineering input to permits, interconnects, and financial models.
• Lead multiple projects, meet submittal dates, and train junior engineers.
