Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience in construction.
• Experience with EHV transmission lines and transmission construction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and blueprints to determine scope, cost, materials, and labor.
• Prepare detailed estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for project data.
• Analyze suppliers and contractors to secure best-cost deals.
• Use Microsoft Office to prepare reports, track costs, and manage budgets.
