Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation; insurance defense a plus.
• Paralegal certificate or related degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents.
• Review discovery materials.
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
• Draft and send out subpoenas.
• Set up independent medical examinations.
• Review medical records and summarize important information.
• Prepare for trial.
