Job summary

Goldberg, Miller & Rubin is seeking a litigation paralegal to join our growing team in New York. This position can be hybrid/remote based on experience.

We handle civil litigation for automotive, medical malpractice, toxic torts, and more, and support clients in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years of civil litigation experience and a paralegal certificate or related degree are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Insurance defense experience preferred but not required.
• Paralegal certificate or related degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Receive discovery documents from clients and manage them.
• Review discovery materials for relevance and accuracy.
• Draft motions, discovery responses, and other documents.
• Draft and send subpoenas as needed.
• Arrange independent medical examinations.
• Review medical records and summarize key findings.
• Prepare for trial and coordinate with team.
