Job summary

Goldberg, Miller & Rubin is seeking a litigation paralegal to join our New York team. This hybrid/remote role supports attorneys in civil cases and trial preparation from our New York office. Candidates should have 2+ years of civil litigation experience; paralegal certificate is a plus but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation (insurance defense a plus).
• Paralegal certificate or other related degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
• Work with clients to receive discovery documents.
• Review discovery materials.
• Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
• Draft and send out Subpoenas.
• Set up independent medical examinations.
• Review medical records and summarize important information.
• Prepare for trial.
