Berkshire Hathaway Direct Insurance Company (biBerk) is seeking an experienced software leader to guide a cross-functional Production Support team. You will drive day-to-day activities, design resilient architectures, and ensure high-quality delivery of biBerk solutions.

This hybrid role requires onsite Pittston, PA presence for meetings and may involve collaboration with the Omaha office. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in C#, 3+ years leading teams, and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as software developer, primarily using C#
• 3+ years leading development teams
• Excellent C# and .NET debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud services (Azure)
• Experience with monolithic and microservice architectures
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and IaC

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Production Support team activities
• Prioritize issues by impact and ensure proper assignment
• Collaborate with QA to ensure testing quality
• Lead code reviews, pair programming and demos
• Drive security-first mindset and proactive problem solving
• Support staffing decisions and interviews
