Job summary

biBerk is building a cloud-first, API-driven insurance platform. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Pittston, PA at least once every other month and local travel to BHDIC offices as needed.

The Senior role leads an experienced team of software developers, business analysts, and QA engineers in day-to-day support and ongoing projects, delivering secure, scalable solutions with a focus on Azure cloud services and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, primarily in C#.
• 3+ years of leading development teams including analysts and QA.
• Proficient in C# and .NET; strong debugging skills.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and enterprise-scale architectures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of Production Support team and lead planning sessions.
• Prioritize issues with focus on impact; ensure domain experts use appropriate resources.
• Collaborate with QA leadership to ensure successful testing of features.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Mentor teammates, conduct pair programming, code reviews, and demos.
• Assist in staffing decisions and recruitment.
