Janicki Industries in Sedro-Woolley, WA is seeking a Manager, Government Accounting & Forward Pricing to join our growing team. This hybrid/remote role supports U.S.

Government contracts, develops Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, and works with DCAA, DCMA, and internal leaders on cost accounting and pricing matters. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in government contractor accounting, strong FAR/CAS knowledge, and hands-on experience with forward pricing and rate negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Government contractor accounting, pricing or financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience developing direct and indirect cost rates for a U.S. Government contractor.
• Experience preparing or significantly supporting Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs).
• Strong knowledge of FAR Part 31 and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Experience supporting DCAA audits or DCMA reviews.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and preparation of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals.
• Develop and maintain multi-year forecasts for direct labor rates, overhead, fringe, G&A and other indirect rates.
• Analyze indirect cost pools, allocation bases, and labor forecasts.
• Support negotiations of Forward Pricing Rate Agreements with DCMA.
• Collaborate with DCAA auditors and Government representatives during reviews and audits.
• Prepare schedules, models, assumptions and reconciliations for forward pricing submissions.
• Monitor actual vs forecasted rate performance and identify risks or trends.
• Provide guidance on Government cost accounting and pricing requirements.
