Job summary

TalentSource360 LLC in the Washington, DC Metro area seeks an Accounting Manager specializing in government contracting to lead a portfolio of client engagements and implement compliant systems.

You will work with client founders and contracts teams to drive monthly closes, prepare billing rates, and ensure DCAA/FAR Part 31 compliance. This is a client advisory, governance-heavy role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including federal government contracting.
• Hands-on knowledge of FAR Part 31 and DCAA audit requirements.
• Experience with incurred cost submissions and provisional billing rates.
• Experience using GovCon accounting platforms such as Deltek Costpoint or Unanet.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and reconciliations for GovCon clients.
• Main finance contact for client founders, CEOs, and contracts teams.
• Design and implement accounting systems meeting DCAA/FAR Part 31 requirements.
• Prepare ICS and provisional billing rates.
• Assist pricing teams with rate build-ups for bids.
• Liaise during DCAA/DCMA audits and agency inquiries.
• Mentor staff and improve firm templates.
