Jobot is seeking a seasoned Defense Litigation Attorney to manage all aspects of litigation and defend clients in complex cases. The role offers hybrid remote work, competitive compensation, and a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include trials, arbitrations, drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and staying current with laws, while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in the state (WA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in defense litigation.
• Proficiency with case management software and legal technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of litigation including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and other case-related documents.
• Represent clients in court and argue motions.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Collaborate with staff and attorneys to develop defense strategies.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel for favorable resolutions.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting the firm’s clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
