Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Defense Attorney for a permanent, remote-friendly role.

Ideal candidate has a J.D., active state bar, and at least 3 years in personal injury defense; capable of handling cases from pleadings to trial and settlements.

We offer 100% remote, hybrid or onsite work, supportive leadership, 1850 billables, unlimited PTO, three bonus programs, and 15% origination.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury defense.
• Proven track record of litigating and settling personal injury cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to interpret complex legal information.
• Proficient in legal research software and case management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interface at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of a case from inception to trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court or before agencies, presenting evidence for defense.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support defense strategy.
• Prepare and draft legal documents including contracts and other instruments.
• Coordinate with colleagues to establish bases for legal proceedings.
• Advise clients on liability and rights, and interpret laws and regulations.
• Advocate for clients in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
