Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Controller for a 60-year-old food manufacturing company with double-digit growth. The role offers hybrid remote flexibility and direct partnership with the CFO to influence strategic finance decisions.

You will lead month-end close, financial and management reporting, audits, and budgeting/forecasting while guiding a six-member accounting team. Board-level reporting and long-term growth are central to this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee financial reporting and management reporting activities.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
• Prepare financial presentations and reporting for the Board of Directors.
• Supervise and develop a team of six accounting professionals.
