Job summary

VIATechnik is seeking a VDC Engineer II to deliver BIM/VDC solutions for mechanical and piping systems on complex projects. You will lead coordination, advanced modeling, clash detection, and project communication with teams across the U.S. and globally.

You will mentor teams, advance modeling standards, and develop high-accuracy models using Revit, Navisworks, ACC, and Procore, while ensuring constructability and field alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BIM/VDC implementation, training and support.
• 3+ years working for plumbing and/or mechanical trade contractor.
• Experience coordinating BIM updates and running clash detection.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Capable of self-directed work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own BIM/VDC delivery for mechanical and piping systems from design to construction.
• Serve as lead technical contact for clients; present updates and resolve coordination issues.
• Mentor global project teams; raise modeling standards and workflows.
• Develop high-accuracy models using Revit, Navisworks, ACC, and Procore; align with field conditions.
• Run clash detection cycles and deliver actionable results to project teams.
• Recommend and pilot new modeling tools and efficiency improvements.
• Train and support teammates across projects to build BIM/VDC capability.
• Collaborate cross-discipline to support broader building systems and coordination.
