Insurance Office of America in Southern California is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin and customer service, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.

Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of account management or 5+ years insurance, active P&C license, CIC preferred, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and a professional approach.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion by monitoring activity and suspense.
• Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
