Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana seeks an Associate Release Administrator in Okemos, MI for a hybrid role supporting deployment and release activities for applications preparing for deployments.

You will maintain release documentation, gather metrics, coordinate environment changes, communicate planned downtimes, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery with quality. On-site when needed, you will collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one year of coordination or project management experience.
• Experience coordinating technical releases and writing technical documentation preferred.
• Flexible in a fast-paced environment with strong communication to internal/external customers.
• Agile methodology (Scrum or SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support deployment and release activities for applications preparing for deployments.
• Maintain necessary release and process documentation including cadence and release notes.
• Assist in gathering applicable release metrics.
• Coordinate changes to lower environments due to release, patching or similar activities.
• Provide communication to teams of pending environment downtimes.
• Aid teams with monitoring release progress to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Act as a point of contact for release activities in progress.
• On-site involvement as necessary, managing emails, release bridge lines or chat tools.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
