Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Release Manager to coordinate releases, deployments, and governance across development, test, staging, and production environments. The role supports cloud-based operations, CI/CD pipelines, release readiness, and post-release validation, working with DevOps, security, and operations teams.

The candidate will document release procedures, manage calendars, and track changes, ensuring adherence to governance processes and timely communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating releases, deployments, or production changes in IT ops, DevOps, cloud, or application support.
• Understanding of change management, release management, and deployment governance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation concepts.
• Ability to coordinate across DevOps, cloud, database, security, and operations stakeholders.
• Strong documentation of release plans, change records, and deployment steps.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate release and change activities across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain and communicate release calendars, deployment schedules, and release status.
• Coordinate with DevOps, cloud, application automation, database, security, and SRE teams to ensure release readiness.
• Support CI/CD pipeline-based release activities, tracking readiness, dependencies, approvals, and status.
• Ensure governance processes with reviews, approvals, documentation, and separation of duties.
• Track production changes, deployments, rollbacks, and post-release issues.
• Prepare change summaries and minutes for governance meetings.
• Coordinate release impact assessments across application, cloud, database, monitoring, and security teams.
