Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance related experience.
• Knowledge of reinsurance administration rules and calculation of net amounts at risk and premiums (MRT and COINS).
• Knowledge of WoodmenLife's products and contracts.
• Proficiency with WoodmenLife's administration systems.
• Strong MS Word/Excel/Access skills; experience with Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and code reinsurance records; submit data to reinsurers; process monthly premiums; review reports for accuracy and escalate discrepancies.
• Assist in automatic submission of premium payments and reporting to reinsurers.
• Review and implement reinsurance treaties and administer facultative reinsurance functions.
• Administer the Reinsurance Claim Function and provide data for financial statements.
• Analyze waiver risks reinsured on certificates and monitor related data.
