Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group in California (Rosemead) seeks a RELO & Licensing Associate Attorney to draft and negotiate simple real estate contracts, amendments, and related documents under senior attorney supervision. Responsibilities include lease reviews, landlord-tenant disputes, estoppels, SNDAs, and easements to support Asset and Property Management.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, help with due diligence, and assist on ADA and condemnation matters.

Qualifications

• JD degree and licensed to practice law
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and negotiates simple leases and amendments under supervision.
• Reviews, drafts, negotiates, and finalizes real estate transactions.
• Supports timely extensions for lease renewals.
• Handles liens, condemnation, and ADA matters; addresses related issues.
• Reviews estoppels, SNDAs, contractor agreements, storage agreements, CC&Rs, waivers, signage agreements, and easements.
• Drafts landlord/tenant dispute letters.
• Analyzes documents from planning/zoning entities for impact.
• Builds partnerships with stakeholders and provides legal support to Asset/Property Management.
• Performs special RELO & Licensing projects or due diligence overflow.
• Liaises with clients/vendors as needed.
