Job summary

Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc. in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Real Estate Staff Appraiser to produce narrative appraisals and consulting reports, using Argus and Excel, while collaborating with lenders, funds, and other real estate professionals.

You will join a supportive, professional environment that emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and mentorship from senior appraisers, with options to work remotely or in our North Dallas office. A MAI designation is plus, and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing narrative appraisals and consulting reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete multiple appraisal assignments on complex commercial properties.
• Utilize Argus DCF, AE and Excel for cash flow models and analyses.
• Gather and research data on comparable properties and market trends.
• Evaluate property characteristics and financial performance history and projections.
• Communicate findings and advise lenders, funds, and other real estate professionals.
