Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an R&D Product Development Engineer with a materials background, synthetic and polymer chemistry, and analysis experience. The role is a 12-month contract in RTP, NC, with 40 hours per week, 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Pay is $20-$30 per hour, on a W2 basis for US citizens or GC holders.

The engineer will join an Innovation team focused on medical technologies and drug delivery systems, working across projects and communicating results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (biomedical preferred) or related field is required.
• Experience: PhD, MS + 2 years of industry experience, or BS + 4 years of industry experience is required.
• Experience in applying engineering first principles to design drug delivery device concepts for parenteral applications.
• Experience with bench and in vivo experiments to evaluate drug delivery concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scientific studies to characterize medical technologies.
• Provide technical direction to advance medical device design including prototyping.
• Conduct data and statistical analysis to guide project directions.
• Communicate results to stakeholders with varying technical abilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions.
