Job summary

Medical Devices Company seeks an R&D Product Development Engineer for a 12-month contract in RTP, NC. The role requires a mid-level background in engineering, with a focus on drug delivery systems. You will support an innovative team, perform studies, and drive project deliverables.

The position is 40 hours/week on a 3 days in-office, 2 days remote schedule, with a pay range of $25-30/hr and a first-shift timeline. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (biomedical preferred) or related field is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience with engineering first principles for drug delivery concepts is required.
• Experience with bench and in vivo experiments and data analysis is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement studies to characterize medical technologies.
• Provide technical direction for device design, prototyping and evaluations.
• Conduct data analysis and report results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
• Understand customer needs via literature review and assessments.
