Job summary

The role involves developing formulations (hydrogels, coatings, viscoelastic materials) and testing methods; characterizing materials with UV-Vis, FTIR, rheology and SEM; and conducting in‑vitro and in‑vivo testing under supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on lab experience with chemicals/polymers
• Experience with nano/micro particle encapsulation and controlled release pharma formulations
• Experience with creating prototypes and in-vivo testing of implantable devices
• Ability to document experiments clearly and accurately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop chemical formulations (hydrogels, coatings, viscoelastic materials) and test methods
• Characterize physico-chemical properties using analytical instrumentation
• Perform chemical modifications of biopolymers and assess performance in vitro and in vivo
• Plan, execute and document scientific experiments; analyze and present results
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing requirements
