Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned engineer to build and operate a hybrid quantum–HPC platform. You will integrate quantum control with HPC clusters, ensure reliability, and collaborate across teams to scale quantum-enabled workloads.

Responsibilities include deploying quantum software environments, benchmarking workflows, and supporting researchers with optimized, end‑to‑end solutions for simulation and machine learning tasks.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on experience operating HPC or large-scale compute infra in production.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (PhD a plus).
• Strong Linux systems administration, job schedulers (Slurm or equivalent).
• Experience in data center environments: networking, storage, power, constraints.
• Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and hardware architectures.
• Experience with CUDA‑Q, Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, Braket or similar.
• Comfort across system boundaries: control systems, APIs, networking, performance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate a hybrid computing platform with NVIDIA GPU clusters and quantum processors.
• Integrate quantum control systems with HPC infrastructure via APIs and orchestration tools.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of the Quantum environment (Linux, QPU hardware, Slurm, networking, storage).
• Collaborate with networking and facilities to meet power, cooling, timing and low-latency needs.
• Partner with researchers to deploy, optimize, and benchmark hybrid workloads across simulations and ML.
• Prototype end‑to‑end workflows and support researchers with application solving.
