Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a Plymouth/Exeter based role with hybrid working. You will handle standard QS duties including cost estimates, valuations, final accounts and cost reporting, and mentor junior surveyors.

The role requires 2-3 years experience with a consultancy, developer or contractor, and strong communication and organisational skills for liaising with clients and constructors.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience with a consultancy, developer or contractor.
• Self-starter with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills for liaison with clients and constructors.

Responsibilities

• Standard QS duties including take off, cost estimates, cost reporting, valuation and final accounts.
• Prepare tender documents and produce tender reports.
• Record and track cost trends and report costs to client.
• Mentor and coach junior surveyors to support development.
• Carry out a traditional QS role and manage variations.
• Convene and chair progress meetings with project teams.
