Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Quant to build and refine client-ready financial models for transactional deals across the Corporate Department, including Emerging Companies & Growth, Capital Markets, and M&A. You will develop proforma capitalizations, liquidation waterfalls, merger spreadsheets, and ownership models with deal teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in economics/finance, CFA preferred, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial

• Ability to communicate analysis to partners and clients clearly.
• Experience researching and developing financial information independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce and refine client-ready financial models for transactional deals.
• Advise deal teams and clients on analysis, data, methods and assumptions.
• Participate in learning activities on quantitative analysis for lawyers.
• Maintain and update training materials and mentor other analysts.
• Collaborate as a team member while protecting sensitive information.
