Job summary

Chroma Technology Corp. in Bellows Falls, VT is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to own the Quality Management System and ensure audit readiness. The role leads internal audits, CAPA, document control, and QMS training across the organization.

With a BS degree and 3+ years in ISO 9001:2015 environments, you will drive continuous improvement, supplier quality, and risk-based thinking while supporting cross-functional teams in a hybrid onsite setting.

Qualifications

• BS degree in science, business, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years working within a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001:2015, including QMS administration and internal/external auditing.
• Demonstrated knowledge and leadership experience of quality management processes, process documentation, and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with standard business processes and business process reengineering: Sales, quoting, product development, Customer service, inventory and order management, shipping, procurement, quality assurance.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques.
• Demonstrable experience training others in process and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and be part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-directed and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the quality management system to ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Plan and execute the internal audit program: develop the audit schedule, conduct process and system audits, document findings, and drive closure of nonconformances.
• Lead continuous improvement or CAPA projects: assign, track, and verify actions to closure, and drive structured problem-solving across the organization.
• Provide guidance on manufacturing and business process improvements to support quality initiatives.
• Oversee document control: creation, revision, approval, and obsolescence of controlled documents.
• Lead QMS training including onboarding on procedures and training needs.
• Review customer agreements and quality requirements to ensure QMS alignment.
• Support change management and risk assessment within the QMS.
