Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
• If Bachelors, 1 year of administrative/office support or 6 months of project related support.
• If an Associates degree, three (3) years of experience providing project-related support.
• If a high school diploma/GED, seven (7) years of experience providing project-related support.
• Clinical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates credentialing and recredentialing activities, tracks applications, required documentation, expirables, and deadlines, and follows up with medical staff and other stakeholders to facilitate timely completion.
• Collects and analyzes information, prepares project materials and reports, and supports the implementation of process improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Performs assigned audits using the electronic health record, by direct observation, or other methods. Assists with quality data reviews, documents findings, identifies potential gaps, and tracks follow-up as assigned.
• Assists with updating and maintaining the organizational Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Plan, coordinating policy reviews, and maintaining quality-related documentation and tracking tools.
• Prepares reports, presentations, and meeting materials, as needed; and assists with other departmental initiatives as assigned.
