Job summary

TileBar seeks a Purchasing Specialist for its Flatiron HQ in New York, NY. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with remote work, supporting inventory planning, supplier coordination, and strategic procurement efforts across multiple product lines.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years in purchasing or supply chain, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in building materials, home improvement, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support demand forecasting and maintain accurate purchase orders to ensure optimal inventory flow across assigned product lines.
• Monitor inventory levels, adjust for seasonality and sales trends, and execute daily procurement transactions with precision.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely production and shipment of goods.
• Track and manage purchase orders throughout the lifecycle, resolving delays or discrepancies proactively.
