Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a Purchasing Analyst to provide routine purchasing and financial support within Laboratory Field Services. You will handle PO creation, invoice tracking, reporting, and reconciliation under supervision.

The position is located in Contra Costa County with hybrid telework; permanent, full-time employment; salary range $6,031.00 to $7,547.00 monthly, and state PLP 2025 adjustments apply.

Qualifications

• Familiar with purchasing processes and internal controls.
• Experience with invoice tracking and reconciliation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete purchase orders and associated documentation.
• Track invoices, review for accuracy, and perform payment/reconciliation tasks.
• Create reports and maintain expenditure tracking to support the Laboratory Field Services branch.
