Job summary

Boulder County's Department of Human Services is seeking multiple Human Services Eligibility Technician B staff for Ongoing, Intake and Lobby teams. You will interview applicants, determine eligibility for Medical Assistance, SNAP and cash programs, and enter data in CBMS within a high-volume hybrid environment.

Positions are full-time with in-office work most weeks; some remote work is possible for Lobby. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and two years of public-facing

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience working with the public.
• Additional related education may be considered toward required experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and reviews financial, household, and eligibility information from applicants (all teams).
• Assists applicants with forms and verifications and explains program requirements and rights.
• Enters and verifies data in CBMS and related systems.
• Processes changes and recertifications for Medical, SNAP and cash programs (Ongoing).
• Screens, accepts, and routes paperwork to appropriate teams (Lobby).
