Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, Public Policy or related field
• 8 years of professional job-related work experience
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Aufgaben

• Leads public affairs communications initiatives with headquarters and field force including monthly newsletter and geopolitical update, policy explainers, presentations, etc.
• Develops communications materials in partnership with internal teams that tell the Aflac story and resonate with DC audiences; e.g., fact sheets, Q&As, website content, social materials
• Supports VP, Public Affairs in identifying opportunities for engagement, sentiment analysis and metrics tracking
• Works with external public affairs consultants to design and implement campaigns
• Assists in managing brand and visual identity for team with internal teams
