INNOVATIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY AND FITNESS CENTERS, LLC is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator / Physical Therapy Tech to support administrative and clinical operations in our outpatient clinic. The role blends front-desk duties with therapy support to ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting and scheduling patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and assisting clinicians with non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Healthcare, PT, or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorizations is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy outpatient setting; comfortable with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, evaluations, and follow-up visits.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and explain coverage details.
• Collect copays, process payments, and maintain financial records.
• Answer calls, respond to messages, and route communications.
• Maintain patient records and privacy compliance; support clinic operations.
• Prepare treatment areas and keep equipment clean and organized.
• Assist clinicians with non-clinical tasks and patient transitions.
• Guide patients through basic exercises as directed by clinicians.
• Monitor patient safety and report observations to the PT; restock supplies.
