Job summary

William & Mary is seeking a Prospect Research Analyst to support multiple fundraising teams with thorough prospect research and portfolio development. You will identify highly qualified donors, synthesize wealth indicators, and present actionable recommendations to inform University Advancement strategies.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Prospect Research, you will conduct advanced research, create donor profiles, and collaborate with development officers on cultivation and solicitation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent education and training.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and synthesize financial data.
• Proficient in web-based research, data collection, and reporting for prospect development.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scale prospect research and development services across multiple fundraising teams.
• Prepare prospect profiles, wealth indicators, and capacity analyses to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with gift officers to develop targeted solicitation plans and portfolio management.
