Job summary

PowerSecure in Durham, NC is seeking a Proposal Manager I to lead development of complex proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. You will coordinate with legal, compliance, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and product development to deliver industry-leading solutions.

You will also support the sales team with commercial documentation and maintain the proposal content library and Salesforce data accuracy. Success depends on stakeholder management and the ability to plan, produce, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business required.
• 1 year of experience in proposal management or energy industry preferred.
• Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of high-value, complex proposals, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Serve as an advisor to the commercial operations manager on proposal best practices and process optimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across legal, compliance, finance, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
