Job summary

Qualifications

• Actively completing area of study in Risk Management and Insurance, Engineering, or related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• College level - current Junior or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2027 - May 2028.
• Strong proficiency in understanding financial statements.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong analytical skillset, with a keen ability to think through issues.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be a continuous learner.
• Team player who collaborates effectively.
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting specialized sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, public entities, healthcare, education, and real estate programs.
• Support the wholesale distribution network by evaluating accounts with earthquake, hurricane, tornado, hail, flood, and wildfire exposures.
• Manage incoming broker submissions and ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Research and share new business opportunities through submission analysis and market trends.
• Review policy construction and support documentation for quotes and binders.
• Maintain organized records of broker interactions, quotes, and bound policies.
