Job summary

Arch Reinsurance Company in Morristown, NJ, offers an 8-week summer internship in property and specialty underwriting. You will join education sessions, work with underwriters, and learn underwriting systems while helping with research and task execution.

The program runs June 2–July 23, 2027, is hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), and pays $26 per hour. Applicants should be a current sophomore in Insurance & Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related fields with a ≥3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Actively completing area of study in Insurance & Risk Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or relevant program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• College-level – current sophomore with expected graduation between Dec 2028 and May 2029.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in education sessions and exposure to property and specialty underwriting and networking.
• Receive hands-on training with underwriters and the assistant underwriting team.
• Learn underwriting systems, processes, and account setup.
