Job summary

King County Metro Transit is hiring a Project/Program Manager II to join the Market and Business Development (MBD) Group, on the Business Programs Team. The role supports multiple mobility initiatives, including the ORCA Business Passport program, and requires strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.

Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least two years of related work experience, plus excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field and two years of related work experience.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present updates and reports.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities for data interpretation and actionable plans.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and promote equity.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Manage MBD initiatives including grant applications and budgets.
  • Develop project plans, RFPs/bid specs, and track progress and metrics.
  • Represent Metro in inter-agency settings and with community partners.
  • Educate customers about Metro products and services and develop informational materials.
