Job summary

King County Metro Transit’s Rail Division seeks a Project/Program Manager III to support a new scheduling initiative within the Link Permitting process. The role focuses on program management across multiple stakeholders and complex timelines to ensure delivery.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of navigating interdependencies across the permitting process, working with cross-functional teams and external groups to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 3 years of project or program management experience with multiple workstreams and interdependencies.
• 3 years of experience using project management software/tools and office applications (including proficiency in Microsoft Office).
• Experience with leading continuous process improvements and program evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead in development of planning/scheduling process for high priority work within the Permitting process.
• Provide leadership to a Rail Permitting PM II dedicated to the PRIME process.
• Coordinate permits and manage relationships with stakeholders to support program success.
