Job summary

Crossfire Consulting Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee utility relocation and civil construction projects in Chicago's western suburbs, based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The role is hybrid: on-site Tue-Thu and remote Mon-Fri; occasional field visits.

The position requires at least 3 years of PM experience, a related bachelor's degree, and strong Excel proficiency. Travel several times per month to Rockford, Elgin, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 3 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, PM, or related field.
• Experience with utility/civil construction projects and reviewing bids.
• Proficiency in Excel and forecasting cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–12 utility and civil construction projects simultaneously.
• Review drawings, plans, contracts, and bids.
• Develop budgets, cash flow forecasts, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities and stakeholders.
• Conduct field walks and site visits; monitor milestones and costs.
