KDM Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Chicago office. In this hybrid, full-time role, you will lead utility-focused projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in the field, PMP certification preferred, and experience with utility projects. Exelon experience is a plus, and a strong ability to collaborate with clients and technical staff is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of prior industry experience.
• PMP preferred.
• Exelon experience preferred.
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Mansioni

• Build plans for business development.
• Leads the design on large/complex projects.
• Prepares and reviews / supervises calculations, drawings, specifications.
• Coordinate technical activities including scheduling, planning, budgeting, and managing personnel.
• Monitor engineering work to ensure compliance with standards and customer specifications.
• Identify problems and guide staff to ensure work product meets requirements.
• Manage multiple engineering clients simultaneously.
• Maintain client relationships and attend high-level client events.
• Mentor department staff and assist in team development.
