Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Project Manager in Enfield, CT to independently deliver projects and drive measurable value for customers and business objectives. You will own the full lifecycle from planning through benefits realization, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing risks to ensure customer-first outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, with hybrid work options after two weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience leading projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing project lifecycle phases: planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Experience coordinating teams, managing budgets, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the execution plan: develop schedules, budgets, dependencies, and change/decision management for assigned projects.
• Publish leading indicators and benefits progress: track value realization and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive corrective actions for value gaps: analyze performance against OKRs and adjust to maximize value.
• Lead project planning and delivery: develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: facilitate meetings, clarify roles, ensure accountability for deliverables.
• Manage dependencies and change: address interdependencies, oversee change requests, raise risks when needed.
• Maintain project documentation and standards: ensure artifacts are complete and accessible in the system of record.
• Protect company interests: coordinate with Legal, Information Security, and Risk to safeguard data and operations.
• Monitor and mitigate risks: conduct regular reviews and ensure compliance with requirements.
